General Mills, Inc. in December 2023 introduced Cheerios Veggie Blends, a cereal formulated with fruit puree and vegetable powder and featuring ¼ cup of fruit and vegetables per serving.

The cereal combines spinach, carrot and sweet potato with whole grain oats “for an expectedly nutritious and surprisingly delicious breakfast food or snack,” according to General Mills. The cereal is available in two varieties — apple strawberry and blueberry banana — at Walmart for a suggested retail price of $5.69 for an 18-oz box.

The new Reese's Puffs cereal will have more peanut butter flavor and will be available on a permanent basis, according to General Mills.

The new cereal offers the flavors of Cheerios with a cinnamon twist and contains 33 grams of whole grains per serving. 

Bunny-shaped marshmallows have been added to Trix’s fruit-flavored sweetened corn puffs cereal. 

Lucky Charms berry swirl features marshmallow charms with the shapes and taste of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries mixed in with the sweetened corn cereal.

Nature Valley is expanding its line of Protein granolas with a french vanilla flavor. The flavor has 13 grams of protein. 

In May 2023, General Mills brought innovation to its Lucky Charms cereal with “marshmallow-revealing technology.” The limited-edition Lucky Charms Hidden Dragon cereal features white marshmallows that transform into a yellow dragon, pink dragon, dragon egg and flame when milk is added.

General Mills, Inc. expanded its Cheerios portfolio in March 2023 with one new product and one limited-time offering.

Cheerios Oat Crunch Berry features whole grain oats flavored with raspberry, strawberry and blueberry fruit and other flavors. For a limited time, General Mills offered frosted lemon Cheerios, which had the smooth, delicious flavor of lemon that will help you welcome the sunshine and warmer weather ahead,” according to General Mills. 

In June 2023, General Mills expanded its Monster Cereal portfolio with the debut of Carmella Creeper caramel apple cereal. In addition to the new character and cereal flavor, General Mills added Monster Mash Remix Cereal, which featured a blend of all the Monster Cereal varieties.
