Fast-casual Mexican restaurants expand with limited-edition offerings.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop expanded its menu with new limited-edition menu items: quesabirria tacos, birria bowls and chips and queso with birria beef.
Jimmy John’s is adding a limited-edition BBQ Ranch Chicken Crunch sandwich to its menu. The new sandwich features chicken, a house-made barbecue ranch sauce, tortilla strips, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo.
“Keeping with the Jimmy John’s tradition of bringing our loyal fans bold and unexpected sandwiches, we’re thrilled to unveil this unique flavor combination, along with the choice of enjoying it as a more traditional sandwich or a wrap,” said Dustin Hilinski, director of culinary innovation at Jimmy John’s. “This fresh take on the barbecue chicken sandwich (or wrap) goes beyond the basics and we believe it will keep customers coming back for more.”
Krispy Kreme is partnering with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to release a line of Scooby-Doo Halloween-themed donuts.
The Scooby-Doo Halloween Dozen donuts feature four flavors:

Taco Del Mar debuted its newest menu addition, blazing scorpion chicken, which is flavored with Tabasco scorpion sauce. The pulled chicken is Taco Del Mar’s hottest sauce and may be added to any entree or taco.
Popeyes is teaming up with truffle brand Truff to debut the spicy Truff chicken sandwich.
The new chicken sandwich features spicy battered-and-breaded chicken, Truff’s spicy mayo, which is flavored with red jalapeño, mayonnaise and black winter truffle, and pickles, all served on a buttered brioche bun.
“Both Popeyes and Truff have reimagined our industries, and now we are coming together to challenge the status quo on the concept of ‘fancy food,’ but for every day,” said Sami Siddiqui, president of Popeyes. “’We Don’t Make Sense, We Make Chicken’ is the ethos behind Popeyes culinary innovation and this collaboration is no exception. It initially might not make sense to a food connoisseur to crave truffle on a fast-food chicken sandwich, but Popeyes food defies all logic with its homemade traditions and vibrant flavors.”
Qdoba is bringing back its loaded tortilla soup for a limited time this fall. The soup is made with vegetable broth, roasted tomatoes, peppers, onions, spices and a choice between brisket birria, grilled adobo chicken, grilled steak, or no protein for a vegetarian friendly entree.
Nothing Bundt Cakes is partnering with Reese’s Pieces to launch a limited edition Bundtlet Full o’ Reese’s Pieces, which features a chocolate chocolate chip cake, topped and stuffed with Reese’s Pieces candy.
“We created this sweet partnership to delight our guests by combining two favorite treats in one this Halloween season,” said Claire Jessen, senior director of culinary innovation at Nothing Bundt Cakes. “Our Bundtlet Full O' Reese’s Pieces combines the irresistible taste of our chocolate chocolate chip bundt cake with America’s favorite Halloween candy.”
Sonic Drive-In debuted Rechargers with Red Bull, which are available in three flavors. The new beverages, which come in dragon fruit, blood orange and twisted lime flavors, feature Red Bull for “an invigorating way to perk up a midday slump or fuel a fun-packed weekend,” according to the company.
