Foodservice locations introduce fall-inspired menus ahead of ‘PSL’ season.
Krispy Kreme, Inc. launched its fall-flavored donut collection.
The donut assortment consists of two returning offerings, the pumpkin spice Original Glazed donut and pumpkin spice cake donut, and two new ones: the pumpkin spice cheesecake swirl donut topped with cinnamon sugar, pumpkin buttercream icing and cream cheese icing; and the pumpkin spice maple pecan donut with maple icing and candied pecan pieces. Krispy Kreme’s seasonal donuts are available for a limited time at participating locations and in six-pack varieties at select grocery retailers.
Starbucks released its fall menu, which features its popular pumpkin spice latte. The coffee chain also is adding several new fall-inspired offerings, including the iced pumpkin cream chai tea latte, the iced apple crisp oat milk shaken espresso and the baked apple croissant.
“We’re excited to celebrate the creativity of our baristas and customers by offering the iced pumpkin cream chai tea latte on the official fall menu,” said Billy Altieri, beverage developer at Starbucks. “The warm spice flavors of chai and pumpkin seamlessly blend together, creating a creamy and comforting iced beverage.”
Caribou Coffee launched the return of its fall menu, which features 15 different seasonal drinks. Making its debut on Caribou Coffee’s menu is the new pumpkin espresso shaker.
“Pumpkin is one of the most highly anticipated seasonal flavors in the industry and we’re ecstatic to welcome guests to fall with our extensive pumpkin menu,” said Matt Reiter, senior vice president of product and procurement. “With a wide variety of menu items and endless customizations, there is something for everyone to enjoy this fall season whether they want their pumpkin shaken, iced, blended, hot or with nitro cold press.”
Tim Hortons debuted its fall menu, which features seasonal beverages and a new muffin and donut offering. New options include pumpkin spiced iced capp, pumpkin spice donut, pumpkin spice muffin, maple cinnamon sugar iced latte and a spiced apple cranberry refresher.
Carvel added a pumpkin cheesecake flavor to its menus, which is made with the company’s original soft serve and pumpkin.

Pinkberry introduced its seasonal spiced autumn cider frozen yogurt. The tart yogurt features a blend of apple and cider flavors, with a crumble, apple cinnamon pie and ground cinnamon topping.
“We are thrilled to introduce our new limited time swirl,” said Melissa Hubbell, vice president of marketing for Kahala Brands, parent company of Pinkberry. “Our spiced autumn cider tart offers guests the perfect combination of comforting fall flavors in a cool and refreshing swirl.”
Convenience store chain 7-Eleven rolled out its seasonal menu, including pumpkin-flavored items. Coming to 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes locations is the pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin coffee and pumpkin syrup.
Dunkin’ released its fall menu, which features the reintroduction of the pumpkin spice latte, nutty pumpkin coffee and the pumpkin bakery lineup.
“Every year, we can practically feel the buzz around our pumpkin lineup,” said Jill McVicar Nelson, chief marketing officer at Dunkin’. “It’s truly amazing to see our fans light up for this cherished flavor.”
Cold Stone Creamery debuted its fall flavors, inspired by ‘a day at the pumpkin patch or apple-picking,’ according to the company.
The frosted pumpkin bread flavor is made with pumpkin bread batter ice cream, caramel, graham cracker pie crust, cream cheese frosting and pumpkin pie spice. The stuck on caramel apples flavor is made from a blend of caramel apple ice cream, caramel, pecans and apple pie filling. Also joining the menu is the classic caramel apple pie, which features caramel apple ice cream, served on a layer of caramel in a graham cracker pie crust and caramel frosting.
Frozen yogurt brand SweetFrog added to its fall-flavored menu with its seasonal pumpkin bread batter. The flavor features a blend of pumpkin and cake batter frozen yogurts that has been blended with ground cinnamon.
