New introductions to retail feature the flavors of Latin America.
Latin-inspired, gluten-free snack company Brazi Bites added an everything Brazilian cheese bread to its portfolio. The bread features sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic, onion, salt and everything seasoning, and is formulated with tapioca flour.
Mexican-inspired food brand Somos, which was founded by Daniel Lubetzky, Miguel Leal and Rodrigo Zuloaga, former Kind Snacks executives, added three products to its portfolio. Among the new products is a Mexican street corn white rice, which features fire-roasted sweet yellow corn, fresh epazote, referred to as the “Latin umami,” and spices like chile de árbol, garlic powder and spices. The other two products now a part of Somos’ lineup includes chipotle refried beans and poblano brown rice.
Krusteaz is adding a line of baking mixes in time for spring, including a cinnamon churro Belgian waffle mix, a vanilla pound cake mix, a gluten-free Meyer lemon bar mix and a gluten-free vanilla muffin mix with a sweet glaze mix.
Mars, Inc. permanently added a caramel cold brew flavor to its M&M’s line. The caramel cold brew M&M’s feature a coffee and caramel flavor, with milk chocolate wrapped in a candy shell.

Canadian snacks and beverages company Buddha Brands launched a line of sodas that are low-sugar and high in fiber, with plant-based prebiotics, according to the company. The sodas are available in vintage cola, ginger lemon and root beer varieties, each containing 7 grams of fiber and 2 grams of sugar.
“Inspired by the tastes of childhood, we set out to create a soda that reminded us of the traditional soda we grew up drinking,” said Christopher Magnone, chief executive officer of Buddha Brands. “We're excited to offer a soda that is not only delicious but also has added health benefits thanks to the plant-based prebiotics and fiber.”
Somos also added a Mother’s Day-themed meal kit, Chilaquiles y chill. The kit includes a recipe card for chilaquiles, the brand’s tortilla chips, jalapeño pepper salsa verde, a pouch of Mexican street corn rice and a pouch of chipotle refried beans. The kit also includes two ceramic bowl and two handmade napkins from Mexico-based artisans.
Conagra Brands and Wendy’s are partnering to bring Wendy’s chili to grocery stores. The canned chili features 29 grams of protein and is formulated with a blend of peppers, beans and tomato-based sauce.

Entenmann’s Little Bites brand brought back its chocolate party cake muffins for limited time. The Little Bites feature rainbow sprinkles and are made with cocoa, according to the company.

Wellness company Bloom Nutrition is making its first expansion into the food and snacking category with protein bars. The whey isolate protein bars are available in four flavors: blueberry crumble, raspberry cheesecake, peanut butter chocolate and cookies and cream. Each bar contains less than 200 calories and 15 grams of protein.
“Our amazing fans have been asking for better tasting, satisfying bars, and we're so proud to officially bring something to the market that fits that need and tastes delicious enough for us to put Bloom's name on it,” said Mari Llewellyn, chief executive officer of Bloom.
Hormel Foods’ corn Nuts brand are adding a Mexican street corn flavor, inspired by elote with chili and citrus.
“Seriously, these are really great and it’s only fitting that an iconic corn kernel snack takes on this flavor profile,” said Robbie Koons, Corn Nuts brand manager. “We're very excited to have the Mexican street corn flavor join the ranks of the classic Corn Nuts varieties people love. Since Hormel Foods acquired the brand in 2021, we have been working to innovate and expand the flavor portfolio. The addition of the bold and flavorful Mexican street corn flavor is sure to become a favorite amongst many fans.”
One Brands is adding a peanut butter and jelly protein bar to its portfolio. The bars feature 20 grams of protein, 1 gram of sugar, as well as peanut butter and strawberry jelly flavors.
“With this new limited edition One bar flavor, we are hoping to transport consumers back to the summer of their youth, enjoying a classic PB&J at camp, on the road, or during those long summer days off of school,” said Michael Reese, head of marketing for One Brands. “Our innovative flavor team has hit it out of the park, yet again, with this newest delicious flavor that we are confident customers will love.”
So Delicious Dairy Free added its first oat milk product to its dairy-free portfolio. The new oat milk is available in original and extra creamy varieties.
