New spring and Easter-themed products make their way to retail.
Tim Hortons is bringing back its seasonal Cadbury Mini Eggs dream donuts and added Cadbury Mini Eggs cookies to menus. The Cadbury Mini Eggs dream donut is dipped in white fondant and topped with sprinkles and Cadbury Mini Eggs. The Cadbury Mini Eggs cookie is made with a Tim Hortons chocolate chunk cookie, with Cadbury Mini Eggs.
“Our Cadbury Mini Eggs dream donuts have always been a big hit with our guests and we’re really excited to have another special Easter treat this year with our new Cadbury Mini Eggs cookies,” said Tallis Voakes, director of culinary innovation at Tim Hortons.
First introduced in 2021, the Pepsi brand has partnered again with Peeps to bring back the seasonal Peeps-flavored soda. The limited-edition soda features PepsiCo’s cola, paired with the Peeps marshmallow flavor. Pepsi x Peeps soda is available in 7.5-oz mini-can multipacks, and 20-oz bottles.
Mars released its Easter line, which features limited-time options for its M&M’s, Skittles, Starburst and Dove brands.
M&M’s now offers a white chocolate marshmallow crispy treat flavor, which features a rice crisp center, covered in white chocolate and pastel-colored candy shells.
Other returning seasonal offerings include Dove milk chocolate and dark chocolate bunnies and eggs, Skittles jellybeans, Starburst jellybeans and M&M’s chocolate candy easter tubes and milk chocolate Easter canes.
Brach’s, a brand under Ferrara, released its first-ever globally inspired jellybeans. The jellybeans feature five flavors, including chocolate macaron, strawberry mochi, churro, apple pie and lemon sorbet.
The Peeps brand also has partnered with other companies to launch Peeps-inspired products. In a collaboration with Duncan Hines, Peeps debuted a color swirl cake and brownie eggs.
Kraft Heinz Co.’s Jet-Puffed brand released bunnymallows, bunny-shaped marshmallows, in time for spring. The marshmallows are available in an 8-oz package and come in pastel colors.
Jell-O, a Kraft Heinz Co. brand, added jellybeans to its portfolio, which are available in lime, cherry, berry blue, strawberry and orange flavors. They come in a 12-oz bag for a suggested retail price of $3.99.
Mars, Inc. expanded its Extra gum brand with a limited-edition pink lemonade flavor.
“We hope Extra pink lemonade flavor will inspire moments of everyday happiness and become the perfect companion for ushering in the highly anticipated spring sunshine,” said Gabrielle Wesley, chief marketing officer at Mars Wrigley North America. “Pink lemonade is a beloved flavor that is sure to be an Extra fan favorite, and perfect to be shared while connecting with friends and family — no matter the weather outside.”
Pinkbox Doughnuts added limited-edition Easter-themed donuts to its portfolio, which includes nine donut flavors. The seasonal options feature bunny donuts to spring donuts to pastel-colored donuts.
Boulder-based Chocolove brought back its chocolate eggs to retail locations. The chocolate eggs are available in four flavors: dark chocolate salted caramel-filled eggs, dark chocolate almond butter-filled eggs, milk chocolate peanut butter-filled eggs and milk chocolate marshmallow-filled eggs. The chocolates are individually wrapped and packaged in a resealable pouch.
