Popadelics launched its mushroom crisps, which are available in three flavors. The mushroom cap snack is available in Thai chili, rosemary and salt and truffle Parmesan varieties.
“Our goal is to revolutionize the way people think about mushrooms,” said Marilyn Yang, co-founder and chief executive officer of Fun-Gal Snacks, the parent company of Popadelics.
Hidden Valley Ranch and truffle hot sauce company Truff collaborated on a limited-edition launch of a spicy truffle ranch dressing.
The partnership, which was the first that either company participated in, combined Truff’s original black truffle hot sauce and Hidden Valley’s ranch dressing.
Goodles released its flavor, “Here comes truffle,” which joined the company’s line of better-for-you boxed pasta. The flavor features a blend of white cheddar, Parmesan and black truffles. It contains 15 grams of protein per serving, 8 grams of fiber, and has prebiotics, according to the company.
The black truffle macaroni joins the company’s existing line that features flavors like cacio e pepe, white cheddar, Parmesan and hatch chile. The company also has a vegan macaroni, which is made with a plant-based white cheddar.
Truff added seasoning salt to its portfolio that has previously included only sauces and oils. The brand launched black truffle salt, which features a blend of fine and coarse sea salt and black truffle flecks for added aroma and flavor, according to the company. It may be used as a substitute for regular salt during cooking or as a finishing salt to sprinkle on top of a meal.
GrownAs* Foods launched its boxed macaroni and cheese, which offers a vegan take on the classic pasta.
The plant-based boxed pasta is available in two varieties: classic and truffle. It is formulated with ingredients like nutritional yeast, smoked paprika, potato and coconut flour. It's non-GMO, cholesterol-free, nut-free, soy-free and sugar-free and contains 25 grams of protein per box, according to the company.
Truff launched white truffle oil, which infuses white winter truffles with olive oil to create a finishing oil that is bright and decadent, according to the company. When compared to Truff’s black truffle oil, the white truffle oil features a lighter, more garlicky flavor that pairs with seafood, white pizza, mashed potatoes and more.
Misha’s developed a line of plant-based spreads including smoked cheddar, black truffle, ricotta and others, formulated with organic cashew and almond milk and blended with herbs, vegetables and spices. The products do not contain vegetable oils, soy, fillers, starches or nutritional yeast. In January 2023, the company opened a crowdfunding raise with a goal to secure $5 million in a post-seed, pre-Series A round.
IWON Organics expanded its assortment of protein-enhanced snacks with the introduction of ready-to-eat popcorn, formulated with organic coconut oil and pea protein. The offerings joined a line that includes puffed and crunchy snacks based on peas, beans and brown rice.
