Quick-service pizza restaurant Papa Johns launched a new menu item in collaboration with Mondelez International Inc.’s Oreo brand.
The Oreo Cookie Papa Bites are made with a six-ingredient dough, then stuffed with chocolate cookie crumbles and served with a sweet icing for dipping.
Sonic Drive-In is adding a steak and bacon grilled cheese, available in regular and spicy options.
The new grilled cheese features grilled steak, as well as grilled onions, bacon, barbecue sauce mayonnaise, and American cheese, all served in between two slices of Texas toast. The spicy version of the sandwich has a zesty cheese sauce and jalapeños in place of the barbecue sauce.
The quick-service restaurant also is bringing back its pickle fries, which are pickle spears cut into fry shapes, then fried.
Papa Murphy’s Take ‘n’ Bake Pizza launched Meatballs & Marinara, which features 10 Italian beef meatballs, covered with a marinara sauce and whole-milk mozzarella.
Plant-based fast-food chain Plant Power Fast Food launched Snow Days frozen treats, a vegan soft food dessert.
Made with oat milk, the soft serve is blended with a variety of vegan toppings. The flavors are available in cookies and cream, chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate brownie and Betterfinger, the chain’s vegan take on the Butterfinger candy.
Wings Etc. Grill & Pub debuted cauliflower wings, which are available in individual and shareable sizes.
“Cauliflower wings have become an increasingly popular menu item, and they were highly successful in our Southern Indiana tests,” said Rob Hensmann, chief executive officer of Wings Etc. “This addition to our menu will provide guests another way to enjoy their experience at Wings Etc.”
After petitions from fans, Del Taco is bringing back its orange and cream shake after eight years. The limited-edition shake is made with a blend of vanilla and Fanta Orange and will be on Del Taco's menu until mid-April.
