ATLANTA — The Coca-Cola Co. has partnered with Absolut Vodka maker Pernod Ricard to create a pre-mixed Absolut and Sprite cocktail.
The ready-to-drink beverage is slated to launch in 2024 in select markets, including the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Germany and Spain. Absolut and Sprite will have a global benchmark of 5% alcohol by volume, though the percentage may vary based on the market, and the cocktail will be available in Sprite and Sprite Zero varieties.
“We keep consumers at the center of everything we do as we continue to develop our portfolio as a total beverage company,” said James Quincey, chairman and chief executive officer of Coca-Cola. “We are expanding in the alcohol ready-to-drink space, including products that use select brands from our core portfolio.”
The product joins Coca-Cola’s alcoholic beverage portfolio that includes Topo Chico Ranch Water Hard Seltzer and Simply Spiked.
