COPENHAGEN, DENMARK — Novozymes, a bio solutions company, has launched Vertera ProBite for meat alternative manufacturers. Vertera ProBite may address industry challenges such as texture and long ingredient lists, the company said.

The product was formulated to enhance the texture of plant-based products. Vertera ProBite, which is a liquid product, may also offer benefits including simple labeling and ease of handling, according to the company.
