The so-called Super Bowl of the natural products industry, Natural Products Expo West, convened 65,000 registered attendees to sample the latest innovation from more than 3,000 exhibiting brands. Top trends spotted at the event, held March 7-11 in Anaheim, Calif., included plant-based and low-sugar candy, functional beverages, sea-based snacking and more.

“I just encourage entrepreneurs to continue to focus on your core values and what you are as a brand,” she said. “Taste is always number one, so keep that top of mind because I was really excited to see that there were good tasting products at this show.”
