ORANGE, CALIF. — Salsa maker Herdez is expanding its offerings with the introduction of ready-made and shelf-stable Herdez Avocado Dip.
The new dip is made with avocados and has a zesty kick with its mild and medium varieties, according to the company.
“This rich dip stands on its own perfectly or can be added to favorite dishes for that ideal extra kick of flavor and creamy texture,” said Giselle Olson, brand manager of the Herdez brand. “Made with real avocados, Herdez Avocado Dip is ready-to-eat and the ultimate snack to enjoy with chips and veggies but is also perfect to add flavor to burgers, sandwiches, grilled chicken and more."
Herdez Avocado Dip is available direct-to-consumer at mexgrocer.com or at select grocery stores, such as Food Lion, Meijer and Wakefern. It comes in a 15-oz jar for a suggested retail price of $3.69 to $3.89.
