CLERMONT, FLA. — Uncle Matt’s Organic is making its first foray into the functional shots category with the launch of Ultimate Shots.

Featuring a base of juice from organically grown fruit, the shots are blended with functional ingredients and live probiotics to aid in digestion and immune support, the company said. The USDA certified organic shots come in three varieties: Ultimate Defense, Ultimate Immune and Ultimate Energy.

The Ultimate Defense Shot is a concentrated blend of orange juice, pineapple, turmeric root, ginger, black pepper and 1 billion live probiotics. The shot provides 1000% daily value of vitamin C, 100% daily value of vitamin D, and 100% daily value of zinc.

The Ultimate Immune Shot combines orange juice with black elderberry and 1 billion live probiotics. The shot provides 1000% daily value of vitamin C, 100% daily value of vitamin D, and 100% daily value of zinc.

The Ultimate Energy Shot is made with orange juice, mango, 1 billion live probiotics and 200 mg of caffeine from coffeeberry extract. The shot provides 1000% daily value of vitamin C and 1000% daily value of B12.

Uncle Matt’s Organic Ultimate Shots are available on the company’s website for a suggested retail price of $3.49 to $3.99 per 2-oz shot. The shots will be rolling out to select retailers nationwide over the next few months, Uncle Matt’s said.
