IRVINE, CALIF. — Gencor, a supplier of botanical ingredients, launched Calmaluma, a patented ingredient for reducing stress and anxiety.

Calmaluma consists of Caralluma Fimbriata extract, derived from a cactus-like plant that has been clinically researched for its ability to ease stress and anxiety in adults, the company said. The ingredient expands Gencor’s mental wellness ingredient lineup, which also includes Affron by Pharmactive, a saffron-derived ingredient that promotes relaxation and positive mood maintenance.
