BOULDER, COLO. — Weller is expanding its wellness-focused beverage platform with the launch of Sparkling Immunity.
The new fizzy innovation delivers essential vitamins and minerals and daily immunity support. Made with freshly squeezed elderberry juice, it is the brand’s first non-CBD product.
Available in peach, strawberry and lemon-lime flavors, Sparkling Immunity beverages are free from added sugars and deliver 10 calories from juice per serving, along with vitamin C, vitamin D3, zinc and magnesium.
“The most valuable learning for us came from the utmost disruptive period of the pandemic, from March to May,” said John Simmons, co-founder of Weller.
Weller was the No. 1 CBD food and beverage brand during the 12-week period and was the second fastest growing brand out of the top 20 CBD brands in the category, according to data from Spins.
“Our growth during this uncertain time shows that Weller has a tremendous amount of brand equity and is becoming synonymous with trusted and delicious wellness beverages,” Mr. Simmons said.
Sparkling Immunity will launch in Weller’s existing footprint of retailers and will allow the brand to expand its presence into retailers that haven’t adopted CBD beverages. The launch is supported by Weller’s brokerage partner, Presence Marketing, and sales teams, Los Angeles-based Critical Mass Group and New York-based Boost Marketing.
The beverages will hit shelves in 25 states and on the Weller website at the end of September. They will be available for a suggested retail price of $2.99 per 12-oz can.
