BATTLE CREEK, MICH. — Turkey, duck and chicken flavored Pringles are the stars of Kellogg Co.’s new Thanksgiving Pringles kit: the Friendsgiving Feast.
The fowl-forward feast includes roasted turkey, duck and chicken flavored Pringles crisps that may be stacked to create a “turducken” flavor, the company said. The kit also includes cranberry sauce, stuffing and pumpkin pie flavored Pringles all packed in one tray.
"We pride ourselves on offering consumers insanely accurate flavors with endless stacking possibilities," said Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles. "For our third year, we created the perfect kit for those who are infatuated with the Thanksgiving meat masterpiece that is the almighty Turducken, as well as anyone looking to enjoy a new take on a Friendsgiving feast."
Beginning at 12 p.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 7, consumers may purchase a limited number of Pringles Friendsgiving Feast kits for $15.99 here.
However, Pringles Roasted Turkey crisps on their own are now available at stores nationwide for a limited time.
Thanksgiving Pringles made their debut in 2017. Packaged in a TV dinner tray, the crisps came in eight flavors: turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, creamed corn, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, and pumpkin pie. The 2017 release was a pilot taste test and was not available for retail sale.
However, in 2018, Kellogg offered a pared-down Pringles Thanksgiving Dinner pack for sale on its web site. The buyable kit included three cans of crisps in three flavors: turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie.
