ST. LOUIS — Ronnoco Coffee L.L.C. has acquired Beverage Solutions Group, a Maynardville, Tenn.-based supplier of beverages and beverage equipment for the convenience store and food service industry. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1997, Beverage Solutions Group provides equipment and sells creamers, sweeteners, cappuccino and hot chocolate to more than 70 distributors that service convenience store and food service accounts in more than 43 states.
Ronnoco Coffee, jointly owned by Huron Capital Partners and Ronnoco management, roasts, blends, grinds, packages and distributes premium coffee and teas under five primary brands: Ronnoco, Seattle Roast, Wild Horse Creek, Henderson and Camellia. The company also provides beverages such as cappuccino, hot chocolate and smoothies as well as coffee-related products and equipment, including cups, flavoring syrups and condiments. Ronnoco supplies products directly to customers as well as through a network of third-party distributors throughout more than 30 states.
Beverage Solutions Group is Ronnoco’s eighth acquisition within the past six years and is part of the company’s strategy to grow both geographically and in market share, the company said. Ronnoco’s previous acquisitions include Black Waters Coffee, International Blends, Henderson Coffee, Biff’s Coffee, Beverage by Quench, U.S. Roasterie and the coffee and tea business of Love Bottling Co.

Mr. McDaniel joined Ronnoco as c.e.o. in February 2018 after serving 11 years as president and c.e.o. of Inventure Foods, Inc., which was acquired by Utz Quality Foods, L.L.C. in December 2017. Before Inventure, Mr. McDaniel held roles at Wise Foods, Häagen-Dazs, Nestle and Tropicana Products.
